Hi, I’m Sam, a designer, entrepreneur and programmer

I’m the founder of Pinto, the leading data platform for food and nutrition information. My work has focused on data across the global food system and personal nutrition, and more recently on AI-driven wellness. I teach at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, focusing on data visualization and personalization systems. I live in Atlanta and New York City.
